About Oppcium
Oppcium is a survival horror game where you play as Melissa Winston as she investigates a government facility. Stealth is a core mechanic, together with exploration, puzzle-solving, and resource management.
Chapter 1:

Explore and investigate the vast area that covers the perimeter of the futuristic facility. Scour for resources and fabricate tools out of blueprints that will further aid you with the investigation.

Work together with Sabine, a cybernetic organism tasked to aid you in uncovering the crisis that left the whole facility silent.

Delve deep into the corridors of S02/47-B and avoid the ever-expanding threat that lurks around the corners.

Get immersed in a True FPS experience and try to make the best out of an unpredictable situation.

DISCLAIMER:
- Very difficult game.
- Involves backtracking through a relatively open world.
- 3-6 hours of gameplay per chapter. (Chapter 1/3)
- No hand-holding.

I received this game for free to try out. I was REALLY excited to play this as it was an alien survival horror game and there's not many out there (in my opinion). You play as a human guinea pig sent in to collect evidence of an escaped alien entity in an area. It's made perfectly clear you're worthless and expendable, but somehow your character is still motivated to do their job. I played the game for about 2 hours but couldn't get into it or complete it. Details below on why. At its current state, I would not recommend it. PROS: * Beautiful graphics * Interesting story, but must read papers in order to get story * Map shows things you need to pick up CONS: * Only one save location I could find (so far) and it requires save items in order to use * Map doesn't show where character is * Map doesn't close with M (have to click the X close button) * Map way points have descriptions but it's SO small anyone with visual impairments cannot read it * Notes are in various scripts, no accessibility or pop-out text with different font * Enemy always outrun you, so if he sees/hears you at all (and he's got a WIDE RANGE) you're dead * Enemy randomly appears & usually by the time you spot it…14 found this helpful
If you like puzzles this is the game for you! Alien in the game seems a bit buggy but this game does have a lot of potential! https://youtu.be/NBCfVWGwSuM2 found this helpful
I did not get very far before being killed, but it seems a pretty good and well made survival horror type game. https://youtu.be/3rDC0dTwCFU1 found this helpful
I'll be honest I don't even know if the lighter is working as intended in being able to light the candles. Maybe I'm just stupid, the right/left click didn't do anything. Game is lacking optimization, I had over 100 FPS but it did not feel like it. Basic UI things such as hitting escape to exit menus or the map didn't work either. Given the last update was over a year ago I'd say development is dead and I'd avoid this game.
