The temptation for her to finally understand what happened is too much to resist. When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong. In order to uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's exceptional atmosphere, detailed design, and faithful recreation of the original Alien film's aesthetic, along with engaging stealth and action gameplay that delivers genuine scares and impressive death animations. The campaign offers substantial length, good difficulty balance on higher settings, and strong storytelling with meaningful character connections. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, some mention the early human enemy sections being unexpectedly challenging, though this is a minor complaint in an otherwise highly acclaimed experience.
You gotta play this.

Yes!
Terrifying but extremely fun.
I love how the energy, that is shown through the technology and UI, of this game matches well with the original Alien film, the attention to detail is so good. It makes me really happy and sometimes I get shocked how the xenomorph can actually get you under the table and stuff, it is really cool and the different death animations from the xenomorph killing you are awesome too.
Spoiler free review! 11/10. Wow, a perfect game. Long campaign too, it took me about 20 hours on my first playthrough. The game looks beautiful and runs perfectly on max settings. I suggest playing through on Hard, even if it's your first time. That's what I did, and it was a really good balance of difficulty between stealth and action without detracting from the intended progression. It was never frustrating or felt too difficult except the first section with human enemies, that's probably one of the hardest parts of the game funnily enough. I didn't think I would ever actually attached to any characters, since I assumed it was a given that Ripley would be the lone survivor, but it does establish character connections well without being shoehorned in. Very good story and writing told subtly through dialogue, computer messages and voice recordings. I am usually not a fan of voice logs and stuff for lore in video games, but they're sweet and short and actually pretty interesting. The original stuff they wrote for this game is superb. Can't believe it took me this long to play this amazing game. If you're a fan of Alien, or horror games, or video games in general, play this game.
