✦ AI summary

MeltyFlow: A Cozy Desktop Lava Lamp is a delightful digital lava lamp that delivers exactly what it promises, with players praising its variety of styles, customizable presets, satisfying interactive elements, and calming ambiance. The app offers genuine value as a relaxing background companion with charming sound design and creative options for making your own lamp designs. A small caveat: Linux users report display issues with a black background, and there may be occasional compatibility quirks with screen capture software.

MeltyFlow is exactly what you think it is: it's a lava lamp for your computer screen. And it's fantastic!!! From the tons of different styles of lamps to choose from to being able to customise your own to just being able to poke and prod at it and have the lava bloop about and make a nice chime. It's inobtrusive, pretty and everything you could ask for from a lava lamp wot sit on your screen while you do other stuff. Marvelous and DANGEROUSLY close to being my goty 2026 lmao

I really must say this is such a gem to have! :D I run it all the time & it's such a calming experience for me. I find when I'm getting anxious, as I do have anxiety issues, it gives me a peaceful, relaxing & calm feeling. It's fun to watch, as well. When I have to quietly think, I focus on that and it's flow seems to help me think by the soft, slow movement of the wax. I did not know that we can make our own & pass it on to friends. I've never seen something like this before, for computers or anything else, matter of fact. Cozy, warm, friendly & a quiet companion that lifts my spirits! I most definitely recommend this product! Thank You for making this, Raffaele!

It's not the worst thing ever, and has promise. The program is cheap enough that most people will probably be OK with what they get, especially for the sale price. I'm too broke to waste my tiny Steam balance (that I can't afford to replace) on "Cozy/Relaxing" software that feels at best beta and is ultimately frustrating for me, so I'm in the process of trying to get a refund. Especially given this has been out for 7.5 months, so who knows when or if any fixes or improvements may be implemented. I "played" it for twenty one minutes, and spent the entire time trying to tinker with settings in the very amateur-looking UI - many of which didn't save, and/or didn't seem to do anything. UI is kludgy, too sensitive to mouseover (in the main UI, things kept activating and deactivating when I didn't select them, just moused over them to select something else) and it's not very intuitive in some ways. It has an option to enable/disable a "To Do" list, for example, but I couldn't find actual To Do List functionality. I kept accidentally moving my lava lamp when clicking it, even after I locked moving. If you miss clicking on the moving wax (which is mostly just giant clumps, like a t…

Really nice little toy to have on your desktop. There are a lot of different presets to find and you can even make your own if that is not enough. Also, the audio is really nice! I spent way too much time just clicking on the lamps and listening to the chimes. Recommended!

Nice to run in the background while you work. I really like the customizability of the lamps and the different bases/styles they have
