Definitely fun if you love the more straightforward action RPGs like Torchlight. Lots of unlockable characters, but I do wish some were unlocked by other achievements besides just finishing levels. Love that this dev includes a game speed slider right in the settings instead of having to unlock it. The game feels real good at 120% or so. Fun game!
6/10
It's low budget Torchlight, but it's roguelite. You can get meta upgrades, but they're very basic and don't really change how you play - they just shift the numbers a little. So skill doesn't win, numbers from grinding does. For me, the fun is in finding good loot you carry over to future characters. And trying new classes you unlock is enjoyable, too.
Pros:
- Combat is reasonably fun even if it's a bit janky - You can automatically attack the nearest enemy with E - The runs are around 30 minutes, give or take. It's an unusual way to play a Diablo-like game, but it does kinda work - You can transfer a limited amount of items to future runs
Mehs:
- Abilities are fairly basic and boring - Having locked classes kinda sucks
Cons:
- Upgrades are extremely basic and boring. "+2% Health" kind of thing - Looks pretty bad. It's like someone put a blur filter over the whole game. And it wouldn't have looked great to begin with - Ability list seems really short - Levels are very samey

Game seems off to a decent start, run loop is good, items are cool, etc....big problem I see right now is whats happened to me several times now and its absolutely ruining my runs. A boss guy appears and makes you fight, then you he goes through a hole to some level. I beat him there every time but then your on a ship that I cannot find any exit too, timer runs down you die and all your effort means squat. Absolutely horrible gameplay mechanic. Read devs response so went into that mini boss thing again, no pnael anywhere i could find... dead...run ruined...again. I wont recommend when its just that ridiculous.

Its a roguelike ARPG (POE like ARPG, more hack and slash and less hades-esque if that makes sense). If you are looking for super in depth mechanics or a souls-like challenge, or anything resembling a coherent plot - this isn't for you. This game succeeds in its simplicity. You log in, kill stuff for a bit, and log out. Its the best gameplay loop of POE without having to stress about builds, or markets, or being efficant- I just wanna log in and smash stuff for like 15 minutes. It scratches an itch for a very reasonable price. This is not a AAA title and I wouldn't pay a AAA price for it. For 10 bucks or less though - you will get your money's worth and then some.

Early access review: Really fun roguelite. Combat is solid, if a bit slower than other games in the genre. The gameplay loop consists of usual roguelite progression. You enter a map zone, you move through the rooms and fight a boss/mini-boss on the last map. Metaprogression is a combination of a small 3 tab passive tree and gear drops. Once you get a bit into the game you can start crafting and saving gear between runs. The art assets are a bit rough, as is pretty much everything that isn't the actual gameplay. I am hopeful the game will have better presentation and UI, etc before 1.0. I'd say it's definitely worth a look. Especially if you're looking for something a bit more deliberate and paced combat.
