Folklands is a city-building and settlement management game developed by Bromantic Games and published by Light Up Games. Version 1.0 is out and my game crashed after building the Wheat Farm...twice... Not recommended for now, maybe in a year or two.

This is an ambitious RTS colony management sim. The biggest stand out for me was being able to replant trees that I cut down. This system first revealed to me the depth of sustainability management systems that can be explored.

Saddly the game is broken.... the free demo seems to work tho. Demo was great and loved it so i bought the game (both demo and game on mac you need to manualy find and launch as it fails to launch on steam)... the demo seemed to progress fine but the full game it wont let you make a builders hut (doesnt unlock) or if it does unlock after placing settlement the road to connect the two doesnt unlock.... making progress not possible

A fun indie city-builder that you can pass several hours with. Check it out, especially on a sale.

this game reminds me alot of Theotown, but with the charm of early european aesthetics. the dev is very active, always fixing things as they appear which is great. the art style is cute and the gameplay is easy to learn. cant wait for more updates with more content.
