Story:

"Once every ten years, the cherry blossoms stay in bloom longer than usual, and the seasonal
festivals are much more grandiose. This year is known as the Year of the Cherry Blossoms.

With the arrival of the Year of the Cherry Blossoms once more, various people begin to feel
various feelings sprout up again.

"It's been two years since I last saw Nii-san's face... This really is my home."

"I know he's better than that... This year, for sure, we'll see the real him."

"Can I do this? I have to, either way... I have to regain that relationship I lost."

"Alright. Preparations are complete... I won't let a catastrophe like that happen again."

And finally...

"It's been ten whole years since I was last here. I hope I get to see him again..."

These feelings meet and entangle, like flower petals swaying in the wind.

Right now, the various stories of those different people are set into motion. "

✦ AI summary

Players praise this visual novel for its charming, likeable heroines, solid character development, and production quality including good voice acting and visual effects that bring the experience to life. However, opinions diverge on the story itself—some find it an enjoyable light read with well-executed tropes, while others criticize it as aimless and meandering with weak romance routes (except for a couple standouts) and excessive H-scenes that detract from the narrative, with the grand ending feeling underwhelming.

you see, this may be a rather boring and totally unremarkable moege with an incredibly okay harem "grand" route at the end (harem routes actually exist in moege??? wtf), and you may ask yourself, why should i play this game? why would a person recommend this? well, i don't know either, but there's one thing. in fact, it is the only thing that made me purchase this game in the first place, to which i say: there are two BR twin imouto heroines, AND a sinister third option you shall uncover yourself. to trudge through the SOL romance of Happiness! 2: Sakura Celebration and finish it, is to uncover a territory untrodden by moege. i don't know about plotge or nukige, but a moege? will you ever experience something like that in a moege ever again? i know i'm being vague as hell on purpose, but that's because it's technically one of the biggest spoilers in the game's story. therefore, i advise you to visit this game's vndb page, make the page only display sexual content tags, and click "spoil me!". then, that one single tag should show up and if that doesn't intrigue you, then go look for some other moege to play. but like, how could you ignore that t…

Sugar? Check. Action? Check, but not too serious This VN is really good and enjoyable to read. Moreover the heroines are likeable and lovely. Their development in character and love is something very exciting to read.

(Playtime is massively inflated by leaving it on in the background) Fun and cute VN with an interesting world. I love how expressive the sprites are, with poses and expressions changing as dialogue progresses. Really makes the game feel alive, in a way.
Also, every main girl is some form of childhood friend romance, which as a fan of the trope is a plus.
So this VN is technically part of a series but this is the only translated one. It does not need the previous work to be read properly, but you will see other places call it Happiness 2. It's not bad but it does feel like a bit of a disappointment. Rino is the only one with any semblance of a compelling romance, with Karen being alright too. The H scenes realllllyyyy detract from this story. Lots of incest too. Nao deserved a route, which the fan disk does get. If you're hoping the Grand ending redeems the story, it does not. If this story had any real themes or anything to it I'd give it a recommend. Overall tho unless you're a fan of aimless, meandering writing or banal moege like yuzu's more lackadaisical titles then there isn't much to enjoy here. It's mindless fun but I can't see why I would recommend anyone play it specifically.

Overall, it was a fun experience. The characters are fun written. The scenarios are fine.
