About Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms
A boy who has no interest in love.
If they were to fall in love with each other, how would the world change?
From Palette, developers of "Mashiro Iro Symphony", comes the romantic school comedy, "Saku Saku: Love Blooms with the Cherry Blossoms". Much like how "Mashiro Iro Symphony" took place during the seasons of Fall and Winter, SakuSaku takes place during the Spring and Summer.
WANTED!!
Springtime. Cherry blossom season.
It is a time of first encounters and final partings, a time when buds are sprouting.
But for Asaba Yuma, a 2nd year student at Mihaya Academy, it was simply a gloomy day.
Yuma was something of an accomplished love expert that all the girls in the academy came to for their romantic troubles. So skilled was he that there was even a 21,000 yen (taxes included) "love bounty" placed upon his head. Whether it was seeking advice regarding jealousy or even infidelity, Yuma heard it all and increasingly it made him less and less interested in love.
Then one day he met a mysterious girl.
She had never fallen in love before.
Yet, she believed that it was something truly wonderful.
That girl also had a rather mysterious job.
"Do you want to fall in love?"
As a fairy of love, her job was to make Yuma's love come true.

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players are divided on this visual novel, with some praising its beautiful art style and enjoying the slower, character-driven romance routes, while others found the common route tedious and the protagonist bland and robotic, making self-insertion difficult despite that seemingly being the intended design. The story receives criticism for lacking depth and emotional complexity, though fans of slice-of-life romance appreciate the gentle pacing and everyday moments, suggesting the game's appeal depends heavily on individual tolerance for straightforward storytelling and visual novel conventions.
Got this just for the sister route and it certainly didn't disappoint1 found this helpful

It's not that bad but I just don't like it as much as other Palette works. It feels like they were trying to follow up on Mashiroiro Symphony but then decided to make it all have a fantasy backdrop and couldn't really find a way to mesh the two very well. Basically the trappings for 9-nine-'s writing but they didn't really lean fully into it so it feels really half baked. You have the 3 "normal" routes and then the 2 "fantasy" routes. The writing is just not great for most of it. They have amazing plot points that just go severely underutilized. It likes to pretend to have stakes but it just has no follow through. The love stories aren't necessarily bad and are wiling to kinda to try something different at points, but the efficacy of it all just falls flat for most of it. Yuuri's route is the best in my opinion, actually dramatic and there are some semblance of consequences, Konami's is alright too. The rest are just... disappointing. Incest and loli are main bill heroines, which is generally not my cup of tea. Konami's probably the worst written Palette incest heroine, too, which ironically for me is disappointing since they usually write some surprisingly compelling love stori…
