If you are interested in this game for multiplayer, I would say hold off and keep watching the discussions thread. This game currently has a game breaking bug that prevents starting a multiplayer session. This does seem to have been reported on December 28th but so far no acknowledgement from the developers.4 found this helpful
So there I was. Standing in the fish and chip shop. Staring. Unblinking. The guy behind the counter looks me dead in the eyes and says, "It’ll not be long." Something inside me shifts. Something ancient. Primal. Eldritch. My mouth moves before my brain catches up. "It had better be wide." The fryer stops bubbling. The air goes still. Somewhere in the distance, a seagull screams. The man does not react. He does not move. He is processing. The words hang in the air like an unspoken prophecy, thick with the weight of their significance. A single bead of sweat rolls down my temple. The menu flickers. The lights dim. Behind the counter, the chef drops a fillet of cod and it lands on the floor with a wet, solemn slap. He does not pick it up. He simply stares. The man at the register finally blinks. He nods. Once. He turns and disappears into the back. Minutes pass. Hours. Days? I have lost track of time. I have grown a beard. The other customers have left. It is just me, the empty chairs, and the hum of the freezer. Then, at long last, he returns. He holds before him something incomprehensible. It is wide. Not long. Wide. A fish, flattened beyond all reason. An aquatic paradox.…4 found this helpful

Game would be fun if the fridge didn't bug out becoming inaccessible, there was time in between days to actually prepare the restaurant, you could move items around after purchasing, and if the controls were more intuitive. Theres potential here.1 found this helpful
I paid 11 quid for cod and chips the other day and it made me want to air the chippy out.
Genuinely can't even start the game, trying to start pulls up a loading screen which does not actually load anything (while the character select is still intractable underneath). There has been no fix to this issue since I got the game (the last update was before we even bought it having seen a video that made it seem fun) and it has been reported on forums by more than just myself with no update or replies from devs so it seems like a dead project that doesn't even work.
