About PostApo

PostApo is a survival game set in the year 2067, where a world devastated by catastrophe fights for its last chance at survival. The game takes place on a contaminated island in the warmer part of Iceland, which has become the epicenter of deadly radiation and horrifying mutations. Players must explore the Zone, filled with danger and secrets, cleanse it, and uncover the truth behind the disaster that destroyed the world. As members of the Aegis Initiative, players work to keep the air purifier operational – a crucial tool for clearing radiation and restoring the world. The Zone, however, hides more than just mutants and zombies trying to sabotage the purifier. It also holds mysterious anomalies and unseen dangers. Every step is a challenge – either you survive, or you become part of the Zone. This is not a game for a single day – gradually clearing the map, building bases, and battling for survival can take weeks or even months. Each in-game day brings new challenges, requiring players to combine strategy, teamwork, and courage to overcome not just the Zone but also one another. Are you ready to survive the Zone and bring the world back to life?

Unreal Engine 5.4.4

What Happened to the World?
The world as we knew it no longer exists. Scientific progress, meant to be our greatest hope, became our downfall. A failed experiment with a new energy source triggered an uncontrollable chain reaction, leaving vast regions of the planet in ruins, shrouded in toxic radiation. Civilization collapsed. Cities became wastelands, oceans turned toxic, and the skies above the Zone never cleared again. The Zone, a massive area contaminated by radiation, became the epicenter of chaos. No one knows exactly what happened during the disaster, as those who ventured to uncover the truth never returned. Strange mutations, dangerous anomalies, and stories of creatures that don’t belong to this world now spread across the Zone.

Who Are We and Why Are We Here?

You are part of a group of survivors, trained and sent by the Aegis Initiative – humanity’s last hope. Your mission is not just to survive but to restore the world and uncover the answers to questions that haunt everyone: What happened? Why did it fail? And can it still be fixed? The air purifier you’ve brought into the Zone is the only means to begin cleansing the area of radiation. Slowly but surely, it reveals remnants of the world buried under a toxic veil. Your mission is simple on paper: keep the purifier running, gather resources, and fight the threats lurking in the Zone.

Why Won’t We Give Up?

We won’t give up because we are humanity’s last hope. The Zone may have destroyed cities, landscapes, and everything we loved, but it hasn’t broken our will to fight. Every step forward is a step toward saving humanity. Radiation and mutants will try to stop us, anomalies will test us, and losses are inevitable. But deep within the Zone lies the truth – and the truth is our only chance at redemption. We are not just survivors. We are the ones who will bring the world back. Or die trying.

Survive the Zone – Your Journey Begins

Welcome to a world where survival isn’t a matter of days but months. PostApo takes you into a relentless post-apocalyptic environment where players face a deadly Zone filled with radiation, mutants, and anomalies. Your goal isn’t just to survive but to help the air purifier uncover the secrets of a world nearly consumed by radiation.

Key Features:

Dynamic Zone:

Deadly radiation constantly determines the boundaries of the game world. Over time, with the help of the air purifier, the Zone gradually clears, revealing new areas and opportunities for exploration. But beware – if the purifier fails, the radiation boundaries will expand again.

Survival with a Long-Term Goal:

This isn’t a game for a single evening. Build your base, gather resources, maintain the purifier, and steadily clear the map to unlock new areas. The game combines survival, building, and tactical elements.

Intense Survival Combat:

The Zone isn’t just about radiation – you’ll face relentless hordes of zombies and bloodthirsty mutants. Work together with other players or go solo, but remember – the Zone isn’t your only enemy.

The Role of Mutants:

During the game, you might have the chance to play as a mutant – sabotage the purifier, steal resources, attack players, and slow their progress. Destroy their bases. Stalk them in cornfields at night and strike! As a mutant, you’re a merciless adversary but still have your own weaknesses.

Deadly Anomalies:

The game world is full of mysterious and dangerous anomalies. These phenomena pose a lethal threat but can also contain valuable rewards if you’re brave and clever enough to face them.

The Game’s Story:

The world was struck by a disaster that left the land ravaged by radiation. At the heart of the Zone stands the air purifier – the key to survival and to uncovering the truth of what happened. Players must unite, keep the purifier operational, gather crucial resources, and fight the Zone’s threats. The more of the Zone you manage to clear, the more of the world’s secrets you will reveal. But the path to survival won’t be easy. Mutants and zombies constantly threaten your efforts – they destroy the purifier, steal vital supplies, and attack players whenever the opportunity arises. Every action has consequences, and whether you survive depends entirely on you.

Gameplay Style:

  • The game emphasizes both cooperation and conflict among players.
  • Play as a survivor, build your base, explore the Zone, and maintain the air purifier.
  • Or play as a mutant and become a threat, sabotaging others’ efforts.

Are You Ready to Face the Zone?

Stand against the dangers, overcome the radiation, and uncover the world’s secrets. Every decision is yours to make – will you fight for survival, or will you join the chaos of the Zone?

what's wrong with it you ask? Game play, graphics, Mechanics, Very very misleading content within preview vs whats actually there as preview looks great while game is like........Well it's hard to compare as I've yet to play one this bad. In 2 languages at once in every single action you do (so one language atop another in every action, search, dialogue box etc) it doesn't just pick one or the other, Driving Mechanics has you spinning in circles, even the players controls are wrecked it's literally every facet of the Game itself is just BAD. They could offer this at 5 Cent's and it would still be a rip off and I'm being serious so you've been warned!

Edit: So I tried the game after some time again and I have to change the review a little bit... And there's just endless surviving basically with no goal in the game right now (it's like tutorial for The Forest but for moneys, seriously). Also it should be cheapier (ideally free-to-play) for what it is in the game (at least for now). I recommend it because it may be a really good game once the story will be added (which devs working on it). For now, there's not much to do except surviving, crafting, making things from items etc. (like The Forest tutorial, yeah) . Also it has a bugs to fix. (character freezing i didnt find more bugs for now) I recommend buying it bcs once it gets good (once it gets story) it might it cost even more moneys probably and that's all from my honest review - after the story the game might get really a high review ranking". PS: Dev should also fix the broken achievements - i can't sadly get them. :( Here you can check my video from the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=432Pq46GAQo
