The Carrier and Crows

This one is a bit of a grind when it comes to craftin' items. Takes about 500 total (wood, fabric, etc) to make a pike lol. I barely got into what else the game had to offer. I didn't know what was goin on when I stumbled across an offering stone of sorts that summoned a crow like woman. I couldn't exit that instance. Had no idea what I was doin. The game ran well though. To be honest, I put a full 16 hours into this game and I'm still processing my feelings about it. And the worst part is that you only find out — from the developer's own quote, after you've already bought it — that this isn't a game. It's a demo. A personal project that was never finished. In games, people play; here there are no mechanics that let you actually do anything. (review after Major Update aug 31, 2026) I'll start on the positive side, because the solo dev really deserves some credit. The atmosphere is top-tier: first and foremost the music, then the swaying grass and the overall vibe. The first two hours are the best part — while there's still hope for progress and your imagination is doing the work, you believe in this world. The UI is surprisingly simple, clear, and actually good. And the Giant Tree — that's the best thing in the whole project. It's even fun at the start to chop everything around you with your hand-hooks, just like Wolverine :) Then there's everything else, and that's where the problems start.
