Text Twist Classic is a word puzzle game with two modes (timed and timeless) that engages players who enjoy finding words from scrambled letters, though it has notable differences from the original Yahoo Games version that disappoint veterans of that game. First of all, I liked the game very much, I couldn't even realize how fast the time was when I was trying to find the words. The game consists of two modes, timed and timeless. The timed mode gives you 2 minutes to find the words. In the timeless mode, you can try to find the words comfortably because there is not a time limit. I didn't encounter an error while playing the game, the game was working fine. A great game for those who like puzzles and puzzle games. I recommend it.3 found this helpful
I downloaded this hoping it would be like the original I played on Yahoo games in college. However, it isn't. For example, in the original Text Twist there was always a 6 letter word. In this one there appears to never be one. It also doesn't tell you what you missed (like the original one) so you can't learn what words it thinks are words and which ones aren't. The original also listed answers in alphabetical order, so you could sometimes deduce what letter the missing words may start with. This one is in a random order. Text Twist Classic is a fun and challenging puzzle game! The game consists of two different modes. The first is the time trial mode, which is my favorite mode. You are trying to find the words while the time is running out, it's really hard. the other timeless mode can be played to have fun and pass the time. Like I said, I'm in favor of timed mode. My advice to those who are considering buying the game, Text Twist Classic is an unmissable game for puzzle and word game lovers. good games2 found this helpful
The letters annoyingly rearrange them selves everytime you click anything. Not really any fun modes. No achievements. Really wish I could get Text Twist 3 on Steam instead of just this one. Not worth the money. Go find 3 on the internet.1 found this helpful
I was hoping for a CLASSIC game but it was not. Its still god for its price but i hope they will improve the controls e.g. backspace. It erases all letters instead of just one
