Womanizer

I had high hopes for this game. I enjoyed Book of Bondmaids and I transferred my expectations to this title. Unfortunately, instead of a game, we got a save scum simulator. Instead of a game where I can play my way, content is locked unless I made the exact decisions the dev wanted me to make. Bear in mind, none of these choices were logical or intuitive. Therefore I was stuck in an endless loop of saving and retrying combinations until I got the desired result. Half way through, I just gave up. This is the first review I have ever given without completing the game, yet I refuse to play any more.

The developer took a major set back on this one. Similar to their first game 3 kingdoms of Contussa the concept and art is interesting enough to play along for a minute, But the overall game design is so non intuitive and frustrating in all the wrong ways that I had to just quit. This one I quit soon enough for a refund. It literally just turns into save and reload, save and reload over and over. They made a massive improvement in game design with their second game Book of Bondmaids, those improvement were left behind here and they are back to just random non logical click and find out type game play. Its tedious and annoying and actually ruins the art that was trying to be presented.

A "Visual Novel" with some adult (free DLC) and point & click elements. The art style is interesting, the story rather dark and the gameinterface is ok. Negative aspects are, that the game doesn't seem to be finished yet and the gameplay is a bit edgy. Verdict ... mediocre game.

"meh" at best, nothing more. unfortunately steam wont give us an option to review it as somewhere in middle/mixed rating so im giving it thumbs down because it doesnt deserve a positive review.

Game is interesting. Problem is, none of the achievements are working. And it has this bad habit of crashing to desktop.. What I have been able to see of the story [i]is[/i] good, but the wonkiness is working against it. Hesitant recommendation since the game does have promise, and the developer has been making changes to his other games to make them easier to understand. Still, might want to wait for a discount.
