Very solid game despite gettin' stuck in a water segment. I like that it features voice over work. It adds that much more to the game. I eventually will see it to the end. Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/rFYLeBjygYw

Caution Ahead: Part 2 I wish Steam had a "neutral" rating option, because this one sits right in the middle for me. Part 2 picks up with Chapters 4-6 after Part 1 covered 1-3, and a lot of what made the first one work carries over cleanly. The voice acting is real, no AI stand-ins here, and it adds a lot of weight to a game that leans on atmosphere. The visuals stay creepy in all the right ways, and the sound design might be the best part of the whole package, footsteps, a tower creaking under its own weight, water dropping somewhere out of sight, ripples and splashes that make every space feel alive. Everything that worked in the first game either carried over just as strong or got a little better here. Where it falls apart for me is Chapter 5 specifically, and it's almost entirely because of the crawling sections. There is no reason I should need to fire off 10 left clicks or sit through 10 QTEs just to squeeze through a tiny gap, especially when missing even one means instant death and getting sent back, since checkpoints either don't fire often enough or don't fire at all in some spots. By the time I was crawling out of the cave near the end, it had genuinely become a joke to…

Apparently, escaping into the woods was not the happy ending I was hoping for xD Caution Ahead: Part 2 continues exactly where the first game ended. You've escaped into the forest and can finally continue searching for the missing girl. Unfortunately, the game has absolutely no intention of letting you enjoy a peaceful nighttime walk through the woods^^ From the very beginning, there are plenty of opportunities to die. Just like in Part 1, you'll have to solve puzzles and figure out how to make your way through the nightmare, but this time everything feels much bigger. You start at a ranger station, eventually make your way to a lake, and spend a large part of the game inside a dark, narrow, wonderfully uncomfortable cave. And basically everywhere you go, something either wants to chase you, jump at you, or make you seriously reconsider your next step. Part 2 also introduces QTEs, which I really enjoyed. They fit perfectly into the stressful situations and aren't always as easy as they look when you're already panicking about everything else happening around you xD The atmosphere is once again fantastic. Everything feels dark, oppressive, and dangerous. The sound design c…

Firewatch except there are no fires, just a naked guy with antlers who isn't in a very good mood. A Chinese toilet hiding sim game with some light puzzles. Perhaps the puzzles and thrills get more intense as the game progresses but the first portion consisted of me walking up and down stairs with different items trying to get a generator to work. I don't really get scared during horror games and this didn't change that. Maybe someone would get scurred from playing this though and for four bucks that's not a bad. I guess go play the first one if you are interested in the story. I recommend this if you like to see crazy dudes in the forest naked.

Great continuation from Part 1. Honestly VERY stressful and spooky at times! Its a good thing I'm not claustrophobic...
