Idle Demon Summoner

The game is easy to complete in 50 hours, although getting 100% achievements is not. It's a 1/1000 chance to get a shiny demon. But endgame you can only farm like 30 legendary souls an hour. In order to get ALL Legendary shinies, it's taken an insane amount of time. I'm at 170 hours right now and still don't have one. All I'm doing is pressing the repeat button (cuz it's NOT IDLE!!!! You have to manually start your run every time) to not get any shinies... :/ (so after 120 hours of completing the game, still no shiny, not even mythic .... :/ ) Hence the negative review. EDIT: I just logged in to try the devs comment with the refresh => I lost my cloud save and could start from scratch LOL, guess I'm not changing my review.

Idle Demon Summoner turned out to be way more addictive than I expected. The summoning loop is smooth, the upgrades feel meaningful, and the power scaling is super satisfying to watch. It nails that perfect idle rhythm where you always feel like you’re progressing, even during short sessions. The art and atmosphere add charm, and the pacing kept me engaged the whole time. A genuinely fun and rewarding idle experience.

I am sorry to give this a negative review - a warning, really - because I mostly like the gameplay. But it crashes a lot. And it doesn't save regularly, so you get nothing from crashed runs. Occasionally it CTDs; usually it freezes; fairly often it freezes but spawns a second copy, which runs until it doesn't... II'll attach my computer info in case it's relevant.

Funny that I'd finish at 666 hours... The game doesn't provide that much content, the very last achievement is just pure rng. That aside, it's okay, a nice snack for idle fans without any clicker elements to it.

I love idle and clicker games but this one is insanely griindy, i have spent 132 hours running to 100% and it is not satisfying at all, as well as the game completly deleting itself and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ itself after a power outage for no reason. The characters are very limited and tbh feel insanely underwhelming for the amount of grind you have to do to get them and to progress is at a literal snails pace.
