Underworld Idle

This is without question the greatest incremental game I've ever played, and I'm not even particularly far. Calling it an idle game would be unfair; this game has exceptionally active gameplay for an incremental. Only the earliest gameplay, within the first week, has gates that might require overnight runs. Outside of that, the prestige systems are mostly about actively participating in the construction of a run over the course of play, and they just suck you in to doing another one because you're almost always making progress, and you always have a goal in sight. Complaints that the game halts and becomes intolerably slow seem common, and I strongly suspect that these experiences are because there is also what I will call puzzle elements. Progress through the game becomes entirely dependent on understanding several core mechanics(crystals, spells) and they represent magnitudes of hundreds or thousands of times of faster progress through the game. If you're misunderstanding something available to you, you might get stuck. This game RULES. It has charming art and writing, is absolutely mathematically beautiful, and it's entirely too addicting.

Kinda too grindy, need to pay

Solid idle incremental game. Big numbers go up. This game hits the sweet spot for me of "complex enough that I have to do quick basic math to figure out the best upgrade at the moment or time upgrades" but not so complex that it would take a spreadsheet and a conspiracy theory board to figure out what's going on. The theme is fun, retro artwork style works well.

This game is made to make you buy the tokens. It is very slow even if you have unlimited premium currency (currencies are float64, and they overflow into another float64 tracking the amount of extra zeroes, i.e. 99 = 99;0, 101 = 1.01; 2), It seems literally impossible to finish without serious cheating, balancing is nonexistent here. Fun for a bit if you cheat, avoid otherwise. Achievements end very shortly, there's much more content after them.

The game is good for breaks and has a ripple on consistent then paused progress making when you play with no payment to the game. A lot of pause was due to forgetting how to make more files. I'm around the e45 area of dark mana consistently until I go back to the boiler room on either my next run or after the new obelisk run. I will continue to play. :)
