About Hopepunk City
In the near future, thanks to perpetual infighting, the US Government lost it's ability to keep society stable. The land that once was the United States got divided into various mini-states, thanks to a period of conflict known as The Second Civil Wars. You play as a refugee, either male or female, assigned to a household of three women, one who lost loved ones in the war, one whose family split apart by war, and one who works in the government. Getting along with your roommates is a major part of the game. This is an adult visual novel, there are scenes of sex and nudity for mature audiences only. The game consists of choice based options where you can romance all the members of the household, or all at the same time. You do this by getting jobs, getting better jobs, and making decisions that affect your relationships and sometimes the entire state.

Pros: -Light life sim elements -Interesting cast -Philosophical / social elements -AI voices in english Cons: -some prot types will have less content -Rather abrupt endings A wonderful post-apocalypse game with interesting social dynamics and message; sadly closer than we'd like. I really enjoyed the story and social message and warning. A very fun and dangerous what if, with an interesting and diverse cast set in a cool future city-state. The AI voices weren't perfect, but they did add a nice element. The life sim elements were not super indepth, but were strong enough to be enjoyable. Sometimes the game would end rather abruptly, and I felt like that should be room for expansion. Also, some prot charcter types (i.e. hetero-female prots) have less adult content, it seems. All that said, I liked the game a lot and would welcome more games in this series, with perhaps more depth and options for game play. I rate it a very fun 3.5 out of 5 dystopian societies.4 found this helpful
