I cannot overstate how much I like this game from the story to the general vibes and mechanics. Though I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by the quality of the English translation. I don't think it's severe enough to where you shouldn't purchase for just that thing, but I hope they improve the English text I really really love this game,

I cannot stress enough how much beautiful this game is, while I will say that some translation could be lacking in a very specific part (
towards the end of the minigame, Nil's messages are still not translated in english I believe
). It still manages to be an enjoyable experience with a heartwarming story both about family ties and society's nowadays view on life itself (such as: risk on job careers and the internet), it is a game to definitely try out if you'd enjoy a story that ties to that and/or are a fan of Visual Novels. I felt immersed as Miki and enjoyed the overall dynamics.

Extremely underrated, though sometimes the translations can be a bit wonky and make some of the story hard to follow, with a little bit of context clues and subtext- it's still a pretty good story overall. It's simple, engaging, and I remember the story being very emotionally moving for me. I don't know if the translations have gotten any better *now*, as it's been a while since I've last played it. It's not incredibly a hard read as most reviewers might add, and it had an incredible charm otherwise.

Really good story, visuals, and soundtrack, and unlike any other VN I've played before. Even though you never actually meet most of the people you encounter online, there is a lot of honesty and heart to be found in many of the conversations, and some familiar, heartbreaking themes as well. This despite the English translation being clunky at the best of times. If they don't redo it - really hoping they do - I guess I'll just have to learn Chinese... My only real (and I guess relatively minor) complaint is you don't actually get to see much of Castor Yard when you log off. What do you mean I get this divine street view outside my apartment and barely any of it is interactive lol. I can only walk through a prohibitively small section of street - with an "exit to home" on either side - and my only options are to buy from a vending machine, sit on a bench to look at the cityscape, and talk to 1 NPC if I happen to be there at the right time. I know this is technically a VN by design, but it just looks so good that I can't help but hope for more.
