The New Apartment

I love my spooky games, especially creepy little walking simulation games so I went in expecting to love The New Apartment despite the short length of 15-20 minutes gameplay mentioned on the store page. Admittedly, the design of the apartment itself is really nice and I liked the sound effects but there's a distinct lack of story here and interacting with the environment is underwhelming , boring even. Clicking on the various documents and folders scattered around the apartment yields nothing more than a flat 'Paperwork' or 'Some Paperwork '. Clicking on the red frying pan on the hob top gives a basic 'My Red Frying Pan' . The game is listed as a Puzzle game which is not really fitting when the game contains one instance where the player needs to figure out a 3 digit lock combination and the 'solution' is so easy that a preschool child would solve it. Another time is featuring a Painting that the entity reveals to the player. Just as I start remembering which room I've seen the painting in... up pops the narrator "I've seen this painting before...." Surely it's not going to... "It was in the bathroom!" . amazing game but fi you get seizers easily dont play it!!!

I liked the atmosphere of this game, but even for $1 its not worth it because I beat the game in 16 minutes. I would like to see other projects by this dev that are longer and build up more of a story.

one of the shortes game i've ever seen. graphichs and atmosphere are good, but i can't call this one as a horror game cause there was no horror element not even jumpscares. ı'm sry i have to thumbs down it

It was short and nice, not much horror though.

Now this is a psychological horror game. The graphics are smooth as hell too. Worth the price. Very short but had me horrified the whole time.
