About Back in Service: a Metro Driver

Join the adventure and become the master of the metro in a fascinating game that takes you into the mysterious underground world of the Prague capital city. Face challenges on the tracks from the cabin of the historic EČS or 81-71 train. Can you complete the entire route, transport all passengers, and avoid any delays? This game is not an ordinary train simulator. Here, you have complete freedom to choose what you want to do. Become a train driver and improve your skills, explore the underground tunnels, or help your colleagues with various tasks. If, as a conductor, you prove yourself by completing your route on time according to the schedule, you’ll earn some money. You can then spend it on various items. More ways to spend your earned money will appear in future versions.Likewise, future versions will bring more stations, trains, and tasks!

Oh boy, this is as real as it gets. Amazing work has been done on this game. I remember these soviet Metrowagonmash metros from my childhood, we had them too in Budapest. And I re-live those memories while playing... attention, doors closing, then they slam, next stations is whatever, parking brake releases with a hiss and the journey starts, motors spinning up. When a soviet tech moves, it is violent, it is loud. Motors screaming, wheels grinding in the curves, its shaking, feels like we crossed the sound barrier while you hold onto the metal handrails. Then next station arrives, pilot puts the controller into resistor braking, it is still violent, motors screaming, resistors glowing red, the train slows down violently. THen the airbrake starts to bite, and it stops, you hold on the handrail like your life depends on it. Doors slam open, compressors roar. You are there. Like - Amazing work on the sounds. This is unbelievably realistic, every sound. The scream, the way motors spin up, the hissing, the clicking of electro-mechanical controls, the way the PA system sounds. I almost feel that smell of oil and heated up resistors as those trains smelt like. - Unfortunately I never …

Wow what a game! I have no idea or no clue about Soviet Era Metro so I won't quote how realistic it is. However as a londoner who travels on the Underground, this game makes it feel somewhat the same. The detailing, the sounds and quirky mechanics of the train makes this game enjoyable! Really simple small game and I recommend it to any Rail fans out there!

nice metro game but the NPC's are a lil weird and quest are also, would be nice you will rework it, and would be nice you added faults to the trains and that you had to repair them or even events like the 2002 flood (but I don't really know what parts of the metro was flooded).
