Terunyan, a mix of a teru-bozu and cat... He would make a nice regional mascot in Japan. But for now he'll be with us in our little adventure where he'll search for his friend Sun (or Amanoiwato gate?). There's some Japanese mythology stuff going on which I don't have knowledge of. You can think of the gameplay as Beat Saber without VR. You're flying straight on air and cutting blocks depending on their direction, separately for both of your arms. You can either use keyboard or controller buttons or joystick. For games like Muse Dash I prefer to use my keyboard but here I decided to use my controller's joysticks as it felt closest to swinging arms. I had no problems with my Xbox controller. The map slowly gets foggy as a challenge, which you can clear using your ability. Honestly using 4 directions for both arms was kind of hard, I even failed a level lol. Felt like I was doing a psychomotor test. You can also customize Terunyan, add particle effects or change his color. You can also change him with anime girls if you're bored with Terunyan :( The game is currently short and there isn't much content, however it's a pretty solid cornerstone for building a bigger game. Terunyan to Amanoiwato is a rhythm game where you play as a Teru Teru Bōzu who loves collecting elementals. The game has only four levels and to complete a level, you need to finish the song without letting your motivation drop to 0%. Making mistakes decreases motivation, and a fog gradually rises, making it harder to see and increasing the difficulty. Besides the default skins, the game features various anime girl skins that you can use. You can play the game using either controllers or a keyboard. The game costs $6 — in my opinion, it’s not worth the money, also the UI feels weak and definitely needs more polish.
