Search for cleverly hidden cats that have taken over! Explore the gorgeous city of Venice, also called the “City of Canals.” Take your time, relax, taking in all the wonderful splendor this city has! Hidden Cats Invade Venice by Developer Emedion Games I got this great game from the Developer. Thank you, Emedion Games! Kittens are stationary until found and you click on them. Then they have a beautiful glow and are animated. If you hear a meow, then a kitten should be close by. Be sure to take a closer peek! Don't forget to use the zoom (middle wheel) to try and find those hidden critters easier. You can zoom left, right, up & down but you are stationary and can't walk around. Had one left to find, thought I found it but it was some kind of flappy bird. Found out it was 1 of 4 Secret Penguins. There are also 100 Penguins to find in the "Secret Levels," that you can also unlock. It isn't easy finding all the kittens! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3352939489 There is no timer, so take your time and enjoy the gorgeous, detailed surroundings and wonderful music. Gorgeous little hidden cats game! The art style looks straight out of a Pixar movie. Far more content than most in this genre. These are 3D dioramas. You can spin around and//or zoom in and out on the little Tuscan village areas to locate the cats. (Some levels don’t spin; some are designed only for scrolling and zooming.) There are no visual hints, but there are audio hints (periodic meowing if a cat is within view). Many of the cats are DIFFICULT to locate (within shadows, viewable only at precise angles, etc.). It’s a CHALLENGING hidden cats game! But also relaxing. There’s beautiful minimalist piano music accompanying your searching. I’ve been playing for nearly five hours and I’ve found all 600 cats, earned nearly all achievements (nine total), except for finding all of the penguins on the hidden levels. Yes, you read that correctly. Penguins, for some cute reason. Four main levels (the levels with 100 cats each) contain a hidden penguin (without any audible hint to my knowledge; I cheated on three of the four levels and found people to help me locate those penguins via screenshots). Once you find those four penguins, that unlocks four more secret levels, each with 25 EXTR…8 found this helpful
This is the most maddening seek and find game I have ever played (and I have played a lot). Where do I begin? The only positive I can find is the graphics. Even then, however, it has drawbacks. The graphics are too demanding when I try to play this on my laptop. The FPS drops abysmally. Then there are the controls. "Zoom" and "turning" are clunky and it is difficult to navigate to where one wants to go. The "help" of the creatures (cats and then penguins) making noise to let the player know that they are on the visible screen is a joke. It is aggravating that sometimes there actually IS something to find in the area one is viewing but the creature is SILENT! This happened throughout the entire game. This "help" (making noise when on the screen) is sporadic and thus cannot be counted on. Then there's the penguins. The penguin levels are infuriating. They seem sadistic. The penguins are mostly impossible to be seen, like I said earlier - mostly silent and not only dinky but mostly in the background which you cannot even zoom to. If this was my first HO game, I would never play another one. It wasn't enjoyable at all. My friends tried this game with me and they agree. Side note: The…1 found this helpful

Wonderful! Astonishing! In a word: A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Since I played its demo, "Hidden Cats Invade Venice" has won me over. I discovered the demo while searching for games set in Venice. Knowing the city and its charm well (before relocating near Milan I lived near Venice), I was surprised to find in the game an atmosphere that captured something of the Venetian vibe on a sunny day. The music is excellent: soothing, pleasant, perfect after a day of work when you want to relax in the evening. The color palette is beautiful, and the gameplay is absolutely accessible. You just need to pay close attention—especially when the kitten is the same color as the wall or hidden in the shadow. I rarely write reviews, but I wrote this one just to recommend this wonderful game. I will keep playing it until I find all the cats!1 found this helpful
hidden cats gamer here again. The wife and I really enjoy this one as it's different than the simple hand drawn point-and-click variations of the game. We really enjoyed the 3D graphics and the quality was really good. Definitely recommend this one.1 found this helpful
