✦ AI summary

Ever Seen A Cat is a relaxing hidden object game with cute aesthetics and soft colors that players find easy on the eyes, featuring randomized cat placements that encourage replayability. However, players commonly criticize it as repetitive with limited content, noting that most cats are trivially easy to find except for a few, and that grinding for achievements requires replaying the same nine levels multiple times without sufficient fresh content to justify the effort.

So this hidden object game is a couple of drawings, then you have to redo those drawings again with different cats. And if you'd like that last achievement you get to do a couple more of those same drawings. Imo, for the price of this game it could've been more content. The cats are not crazy hard to find, the colors of the drawings are soft on the eyes. Overal it's good, just repetetive. Get it on sale.

nice function how it adds more unique cats every time you finish a run on the different maps

Yes it's cute... BUT It's not hard exept maybe for one or 2 cats. You don't really need to search for them. If you want the achievements it does become a grinding game, not fun at all. 9 level, 30 cats in a level, around 40 spots possible by level... to get the 1000 cat achievements you'll need to redo every map 3 or 4 times. for the "got every differents cats" it's random, so you can pray that differents cats show up before the "1000" achievement or you'll need to continue the grinding. I don't feel it worth it's full price, especially when there's other games of the same familly that cost less for a better game with no grind involve.

Ever Seen a Cat is a short puzzle game where you try to find the cat doodles hidden in 9 different drawings. The game has a total of 611 cats with specific places designated to them in their respective levels, and the appearance of the cats is randomized each time to keep the loops replayable. Most cat placements on the levels are pretty obvious, and only the last 2-3 cats can make you actually search for them. Most people seem to find the game repetitive, and while I can understand the reasoning, for a game in this capacity it makes more sense to keep the levels a bit low-numbered and randomize the cat appearances. It took me an hour and 3 replays to finish the game completely with all achievements, but since I was trying to break my previous time record, it was fun to keep replaying for me. A side note I would like to make is that I really liked the cat doodles and how they were blended into the environments. While some of them were a bit vague to find (such as a cat with only a silhouette), every one of them was perfectly added into the drawing with mischievous personalities and cute, diverse appearances. The game also provides you with some customization settings so you can ch…

Relaxing game. Everything is one color until you start finding the cats, but it still is quite nice. If you are trying to get the achievements, you may finish in around an hour, but you can replay it many times as the cats change position on each stage.
