About Beasts of Mystery
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to see Mothman fight the Flatwoods Monster? Considered what Goatman would do in a tussle with the Chupacabra? Well now you can find out in Beasts of Mystery, The cryptid fighting game with hand drawn sprite animation and approachable gameplay taking aspects from the greatest of fighting games’ past and present. Tear through your opponents with your claws, lasers, combos, parries and more in a game lovingly crafted entirely by independent artists.
Characters
The current playable roster includes the following
-Mothman: an aggressive, well rounded character that is particularly mobile in the air
-Flatwoods Monster: a tall, long limbed keepaway character with a variety of projectiles to pester opponents with
-Goatman: an aggressive, short to mid range character that excels at mixing up the opponent.

The game currently offers the following modes-Versus: play one on one with your friends in local multiplayer
-Training: practice combos and get a feel for how each character works

Awesome game! its very intuitive and uhhhhhh uhmm uhh (sneezes) very fluid and creative! the developer listens to feedback and is a pretty cool guy or gal (i dont know them i just got this game) but i know theyre cool i guess you should add D. Been playing through Steam Remote Play with a friend (which is why my game time is so low), but I LOVE this game. It's so fun to control and the theme is OOZING with style. Need me a Bigfoot grappler, or a Fresno Nightcrawlers Puppet type. Keep up the good work :)4 found this helpful
Certified banger, I'm a fighting game newbie and understanding the inputs for each character was really easy! The graphics style isn't overwhelming, and I had a great time playing with my friend. Looking forward to seeing how this game is updated in the future!1 found this helpful
Probably the best cryptid rep of any game that has them within the last decade. I think this is a good entry level if you just like cryptids and wanna learn a fighting game. Art and animation is gorgeous. Also gives braxie the respect she deserves
this game is practically made for me (ps plz add fresno nightcrawler plz :)))))) )
such a cute little game, cant wait for the next updates (bonus points for all the references in the alternate color palettes, Lewa-colored Goatman is wonderful)
