Heroes of Magic & Cards is an inventive single-player roguelike deckbuilder that takes the recognizable rules of traditional playing cards and turns them into the foundation of a fantasy combat system. Developed and published by First Day Games, it combines poker-style hand construction, character abilities, deck manipulation, exploration, and randomized progression. The concept immediately separates it from deckbuilders built around conventional collectible cards because the familiar values and suits of a standard deck become meaningful tactical resources rather than simple visual decoration. Combat revolves around making effective hands while considering how those combinations interact with the abilities available to your chosen hero. Fun little roguelike card game.

Awesome and fun game!

Lame. Not for me.

Most enemies don't scale and you can obtain health and gold by playing cards, so the game rewards grinding it out until you can buy out the shop and trivialize the run. For that reason I don't recommend getting this game, it's just not interesting.
