Новелла - китайская и прям насыщена присущим фольклорным колоритом. Ритуалы, сюжетные события - всё передаёт необычайный мистический вайб древней культуры, которая таит в себе множество секретов. (я не сильно разбираюсь в китайской мифологии и истории, но тут прям библиотеку съел из интереса) Каст персонажей интересный, все получают исчерпывающее раскрытие с объяснением мотивации тех или иных действий и поступков (даже рано умершие персонажи спустя определённое время обретают сюжетный вес, а не просто остаются куском пустого мяса, как это обычно бывает в плохих схожих по жанру произведениях). If playing English version, know that it’s machine translated and not well done. It’s confusing, it’s often weird, but if you want to get the idea of whats happening and are OK that not every line is perfect, you can still get most of it and it does get easier to understand over time. The story gets better once the “game” starts and killings occur. I’m not finished with it, but it’s been a justified purchase based on my time and enjoyment so far.
