BoobyRogue: Tumor Takedown

This is a really fun survivor-like rogue-like game. There's plenty of item combinations to explore and loads of characters/items to unlock. I like the little puns and jokes.

The game runs flawlessly on Steamdeck. The gameplay loop is very addictive, the final bosses are super engaging and there is lots of replayability with a huge amount of builds.

Went in expecting a simple roguelite, ended up sinking way more time into it than I planned. Gameplay is smooth, runs get chaotic fast, and hitting that point where your build becomes completely broken feels great until you get wiped in seconds Good variety with characters and weapons that actually change how you play, and experimenting with different builds is fun enough to keep you coming back. The theme is a bit unusual, but it gives the game its own identity, which I appreciated. If you like Vampire Survivors or Brotato, it’s definitely worth a try.

Was looking for a little game to pass the time, and honestly for what I paid it's a steal. Like 4 CAD on sale. You can tell the devs had a lot of fun making this. The whole booby theme is fun. Every character is a pop culture reference, which makes you want to unlock all of them. They each start with different stats and bonuses too. On top of that, the 5 weapons and the set bonuses add a bunch of layers of RNG that make you wanna rerun when you die. ngl, it's not easy to reach the first boss without putting some thought into your build. There are also like 5 difficulty levels. Big props to the art direction. The art is pretty and crisp, and the animations are smooth. Gameplay is tight. There's clearly effort put into the eye candy and presentation. Runs smoothly on my 155Hz monitor and supports my 21:9.
