This game is a true hidden gem. A text based adventure that combines philosophy and meditations on life under the guise of a demon dog running a sock shop. It was during the first philosopher encounter with René Descartes, that it all clicked and made sense. I love this concept and game! As for my time played, that is due to the slow pace I can translate and process Japanese. I can guarantee it moves quickly and doesn't suffer from any pacing issues. If you aren't truly fluent or a native speaker, it may be slow going given the complexity of concepts covered and time needed to understand contextually the right choices, but stick with it! Sockshop Story has a very forgiving save system you can leverage to figure out the right choice. Charming, brilliant and worth your time. Students of eastern and western philosophy will love this blending as you help Jigen woo customers. Highly recommended!2 found this helpful
