The flexibility is refreshing compared to other games that lock you into spelling only through nearby connections or strict pathways. However, there’s a drawback: some real words, like people’s names and certain phrases, aren’t recognized, especially when using modifiers. This inconsistency is confusing and takes away from the experience when you know a word is valid but the game refuses to accept it. Even though I’m not the best speller, I found Lexispell more enjoyable than most alternatives because of the freedom it offers. You can take your time, challenge yourself, or aim for leaderboard glory, all without feeling boxed in too much. really fun and polished puzzle game

Lexispell is a great time and will 100% become my go-to timekiller game. Is simple but still engaging and fun, it's cute, replayable, and gets difficult while not being frustrating. An excellent game to play while you're killing time like all the other good puzzle games. I do have a few flaws, and know that I love this game, so I am just putting more detail into the flaws to try to help make this game even better. For one, I wish there was something to work towards. Its fun playing the game in general, but I wish you could, say, get an in game currency for getting to the final boss stage or get EXP points and maybe buy cosmetics. The game is simple enough visually that I think you could offer some background changes or something. There's only 4 unlockables really, the characters you play as, which only change a few things. I feel games like this work best when you have something to work towards, like how Puyo Poyo + Tetris lets you unlock skins for the pieces and such. Second is a few balance issues. The first is that, in my opinion, there are a few absurdly broken things that trivialize the game. The first is one that adds your total sell value to the multiplier, which gets out…

One of those games where you either play a quick round for 10 mins in between doing things, or spending a few hours being entranced while struggling to spell basic words. Very fun, and I think if the dev can optimize the game well enough to run on mobile devices, it would do even better there. I can see myself playing this on my lunch breaks to pass the time and brush up on my vocabulary. Literally cannot complain about a single thing considering the replay value you get out of it for the price. Had fun with the demo, glad I bought the full game.

It's pretty enjoyable, and I love the art and vibe, but... there's not too much here? It's a pretty tiny game - and unless you play the timed mode, there's not that much else to explore, and different characters don't change that much in terms of variety. That said - for word games enjoyers, it's a pretty nice time.

I like the game mechanics, the humor, and the presentation. Other word games with similar mechanics don't hit like this one does. Great job, devs!
