Good thing is the cat. Other than that is dubious... - Controlling style is not flexible, you have to point at the exact spot to jump or descend. Given the time constraint (they have countdown), this is one of the frustrating factors. - Cut scenes cannot be skipped. Considering I died a lot because I either got caught or time ran out. - This countdown was very problematic especially when the game requires you to 1. stealth 2. evade the ghost 3. find evidences. So basically they just want you the play the game for several hours if you want to get all evidences. - Endings got me flabbergasted.....and not in a good way. Like, I thought there will be a plot twist but no.... [spoiler] True Ending was even worst because I had to collect all evidences to see that ending and it turned out like it was written by elementary school student. [/spoiler]

Not a fan of this game. When I first tried to launch it, I was greeted by the black screen of death until I restarted it. Then as I played the game, the gameplay slowly became repetitive and frustrating. No save states on levels. If the enemy gets you from clipping or pulling you out of a hiding spot (which weird I don't know if they are supposed to be able to do that) you start that level all over again despite just needing to get to the last spot. The writing wasn't great in my opinion. I was fine with the small twist but I just still didn't understand why the characters fully did what they did. Overall, I wasn't impressed and don't think it's worth the asking price.

Hm. I haven't posted a review in a while, but I thought this game would be something like Stray. It is in as much as you play as a cat in both. I'm too old or too ornery (take your pick) to waste a lot of time on games that don't respect mine. This game is broken up across stages in which your cat is supposed to interact with specific objects to extract memories from them (essentially bits of dialog from absent characters). Each stage is on a timer. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Starting with the second stage, an undead-like "man" roams the area (in this case, a random Japanese house) and will catch you if you make too much noise and do not hide quickly enough, thus ending the game. I gave this game as much time as my patience would allow. It does not save your progress, so whether you "die" by being captured or by running out of time, you start over from the beginning.
