Really wanted to like this game but its not doing it for me. The trailer and store page screenshots are pretty enticing but noticeably absent from them is the awful AI sprites and the yellow filter slapped over everything in the actual game, completely ruining the visual style. Gameplay is pretty limited, just holding left or right and occasionally doing what amounts to a QTE for combat. This isn't saved by its story either, which has been left unintelligible by machine translation. Skip this one.3 found this helpful
A tense but enjoyable side scrolling narrative where quick reactions can mean the difference between life and death. While the quick reactive combat and stealth sequences kept me engaged, I struggled a bit with the button mashing sections but pushed through to my keyboard's dismay. While the game is short and the translation leaves much to be desired with the dialogue. The story at the periphery of this game was extremely interesting for me. I am absolutely obsessed with the pixel art styling choices this game uses which made each scene such a spectacle. However, the character portraits and their dialogue leave much to be desired and created a jarring contrast with the art style of the game. All in all I had a great time with this fun short game and was left wanting more gameplay and story and the end of it. I would recommend picking this game up on a sale for a quick but tense adventure.
