Revenge of the Savage Planet

I actually quite liked most of the game, especially the humorous fake ads that clearly had a lot of love put into them. However, I have been robbed of being able to 100% the game just because I did not buy the deluxe edition, which is unacceptable. We spent hours finding the final things to scan just to figure out a single unmoving object does not spawn in the normal edition. It's bad enough that some achievements are locked behind DLC, but ingame 100%?! And having it be a single stupid scannable?! No, I will not pay ten bucks just to have that number go from 99 to 100. I paid full price but did not get the full experience, it felt like a rugpull, again, we wasted hours looking for something that did not exist. Extra content should have been percentage 101+, and DK64 figured that out decades ago without even needing a deluxe edition to warrant it. Edit: After some time I felt some other issues with the game are missing from my original review. The game reuses a lot of assets from the first in the same way mario galaxy 2 and Majora's mask do. I enjoyed the first savage planet, and I liked this one a bit better. 3rd person was a better fit for platforming.

Shame its 3rd Person and not 1st person like the first game, would be nice to have the option to chose, but that said, this game is AMAZING, I hope there's a future add-on like Hot Garbage and I really hope there will be a 3rd game, The Return of the Savage Planet. and on the front cover there's a Kindred logo, Kindred 3rd Best.

This game was so much fun! A lot of things to discover. Very cool animals and powers. I played with my girlfriend and it was a fun. Also, this game get's heavily discounted. It is worth the money.

Fun game that I would recommend if you liked the first one or if this is the first you have played in the series. Its a fun game, much like how the first was. Had some good improvements on the last and new game play mechanics. Took a little bit of getting use to the third person camera, and I understand why they made it third person to accomodate those gameplay changes. Though the third person felt like it was somewhat disconnecting me from the world and I was more a person playing a character.

A really fun and lighthearted adventure game. Metroidvania elements, interesting planets, fun combat, new creatures and plant scanning, upgrades, and a lot of creative and funny futuristic videos. Absolutely play it, you will not be disappointed.
