The game itself is fine... Mechanics are janky and the destruction of buildings feels sadly not really satisfying. There is very limited physics envolved. After 5 hours I generally finished the game. Now all I could do is build siege engines in a free mode. Here I realized, that the stacking of ressources is a buggy mess. As you get 999 ressource stacks, but if you use something, it explodes into smaller stacks inside you inventory. Making the whole thing a mess and annoying to handle. Repairing siege engines seems weird, as I cannot figure out how to really fix them. You don´t get real instructions on it and I can remove random parts ut it does not lead to anything. But this is probably a me problem. Otherwise I can say, there are textures missing, so you stumble across meshes without texture while walking around. Some Quest designs are questionable and generally it seems like a proof of concept rather than a finished product. At the same time I want to say, I had fun for 5 hours. If that is enough for you, go for it.3 found this helpful
I don't know what's been done to the game but it is no longer playable. I can construct and do that stuff just fine, but once you get to the catapult it's useless. In the demo you'll see a trajectory line when you adjust distance and rotate. However, here, it's replaced with a reticle. I think the reticle works better, but...the game isn't operating as it should. So you can rotate the reticle, but when you try to adjust distance: nothing. The reticle is off to the right and doesn't move no matter what you do. I've been looking to see if there's some trajectory line like the demo but nothing there either. It's all invisible. You don't even get the animation of adjusting the catapult anymore. The demo was better than the actual game. I'm seeing reviews where it looks like maybe it worked for others in the past, but something happened where you can't see the distance adjustments. It'll adjust up or down but you can't see it. Now I could spend the time clicking up once or twice, or down once or twice, guessing, but that is not how this game was made, and it's insulting to expect the players to deal with that when we know the feature was there and is gone now. I'd honestly return the g…2 found this helpful

Medieval Machines Builder is a construction and simulation game built around one of the more fascinating aspects of medieval warfare: the engineering behind siege weapons. Instead of placing the player in command of an army or managing an entire kingdom, it focuses on the craftsmen responsible for creating the machines capable of bringing fortified defenses crashing down. Developed by FreeMind S.A. and Solverto and published by PlayWay S.A. and FreeMind S.A., the game combines resource collection, crafting, hands-on construction, machine operation, repairs, and physics-driven destruction into an unusually focused medieval experience. The most appealing element is the process of turning basic materials into functional siege equipment. Players gather resources such as timber and metal before using them to manufacture components and assemble increasingly complicated machines. Construction is more involved than simply choosing an item from a menu and waiting for it to appear. The player participates directly in the process, which gives completed machines a stronger sense of ownership. Watching a collection of individual parts gradually become a large mechanical weapon is one of the mo…
