Simply nice walking sim with a good story, graphics and the thrilling touch. No more than that should be mentioned for it is to be completed at one sitting. If you have a heart on that I do recommend the game - on sale! For one buck it is a bargain, but with whole price it is a robbery,

You can complete it in a single sitting, which makes it a nice and compact experience. The visuals are impressive that also can even serve as a light benchmark for your PC. It features strong voice acting and an intriguing story. There is a space for language localization options for sure.

The Fabled Woods is a short game that delves into the nightmares of someone who has apparently kidnapped and murdered hikers who passed through the forest. The hike through the forest itself is spectacular and beautiful. The repetition of scenes, both with and without changes, does a great job of illustrating the nightmare and creating a sense of uncertainty about what is real and what isn't. The “Remember” mechanic is an interesting idea, providing an additional layer of events that supposedly happened in the past at the very place where you’re currently standing. It adds another dimension to the fragmented storytelling and fits nicely with the game's dreamlike atmosphere. Unfortunately, it feels like the mechanic isn't fully utilized, either within the plot or the overall gameplay loop, leaving me wishing it had been explored a little further. The surreal transition scenes also help glue everything together into a single experience where everything feels possible: subconscious memories, investigation, nightmare, and the search itself. The game constantly blurs the boundaries between these elements, creating an intriguing atmosphere even when the narrative doesn't always manage …

It's fine for a walking sim but there are many better ones out there for sure. The title makes it sound like it's going to be a fairy tale setting, not a murder mystery. This review is more neutral and I only recommend it if you just want to play every budget walking sim ever. Otherwise, there are countless better walking sims out there.

A very short walking simulator with a deeply tragic story — a tale of villainy and forgiveness, about how terrible deeds stay with you until you finally face and acknowledge them. Special shoutout to the music and the beautiful voice acting.

Not worth the price of admission. It's a short walking simulator with a strange eerie coziness. 10 USD for a 40 minute walk through the woods is too much. The woods are beautiful, and the remember mechanic lends this game a more horror vibe, but I figured out who I was by the time I got to Larry's Cabin. I just didn't know my name yet. I understand it's an introspective game about guilt and whatever, but that kind of falls apart when the characters forgive your heinous actions, that I didn't even commit. I just heard out. This could have been more, there was a atmosphere but it's just not worth it.
