Lunacy: Saint Rhodes

This game has too much running/hiding/sneaking. The level with the catacombs is the worst. The sigils will NOT stop the demon from crossing them once you fill them. Also to charge the various crystals to open the doors you need to charge them using the skull, which attracts the demon. If there were an easy mode or a cheat to turn off all the dying/running then I would likely recommend it, but as it is now I must warn other players to avoid this game.

I personally dislike the controls for this game. if I couldve used the mouse to simply point and click, not grab move let go etc I wouldve liked it a lot better. Just too much, theres a lot things to open and pick up and its tedious. Also the writing is childish and totally wrong for the time period and the premise is weird. Couldnt come up with a better reason for him to go to a wet empty town at night?

I bought the game without reading other reviews since in my experience sometimes they are misleading. The game is not really worth 20€ but 5€ ist fine. The graphics might be a little outdated etc. but still the atmosphere was good. I liked the house and the "jumpscares" in it. (Not really jumpscares but well placed ghost stuff; like her staring from ceiling onto you etc.) I also liked that it was not only about the womand in the house but also some other locations. (Will not spoiler here.) The difficulty was okay. There were some parts I did not understand in the beginning (how to attack/defeat the ghosts). The catacomb level was a nightmare since you don't have a map and have to activate several "balls" to be able to open the door. Also the fact that you could not really kill the monster down there. But in the end, the story was interesting and two endings in a game is always pretty cool. Luckely I got the good one in the beginning. I finished the whole game in like 4.8h. There were some laggy parts (where the room is expanding; you could really feel how a "resize" was applied to everything).
