Simpler Times

It is a beautiful and cozy narrative game. I love how the story is divided into four seasons. The view outside the window changes with each season, and every scene feels special. Autumn is my favorite season, so I spent extra time enjoying the warm colors before continuing the story. 🍂 The game follows a girl named Tiana as she prepares to leave for college and reflects on memories of her family, friends, and the moments that shaped her. I enjoyed the simple puzzles and relaxing activities, such as birdwatching, painting, and building a birdhouse. They made exploring the world feel calm and enjoyable. My favorite part of the game is the record player. I also enjoy listening to vinyl records in real life, so collect and play records made the experience feel even more personal and special to me. Highly recommend this game for anyone who loves cozy storytelling, relaxing gameplay, and beautiful seasonal scenery!

Simpler Times is a short and relaxing experience with a cozy atmosphere and beautiful visuals. It's the kind of game that's perfect for unwinding at the end of the day, letting you slow down and enjoy the moment without any pressure. There isn't much challenge, but that's not the point. The game focuses on atmosphere, storytelling, and appreciating the small details. Its length feels just right for the type of experience it offers, making it a pleasant and calming journey from start to finish.

Good game for the most part, relaxing cosy puzzle game with a nice soundtrack and decent graphics, however some of the puzzles aren't very well explained. They're fine once you get started, but it's figuring out how to start that's the tricky bit. I don't like the fact you can't move around the room manually, the 'click to move' functionality gets annoying quickly. Also don't do what I did and play the first record right at the start as you won't be able to come back to that time and get all the stickers/achievements, kind of annoying. Also no option to start new game, bit weird, the only way would be to wipe games data manually, not ideal

Cozy game about growing up and evolving without losing ourselves. A very sweet note to play when you feel homesick. As somebody living in another country, this game felt quite touching.
