Runaway, A Road Adventure

horrible horrible game. story is complete trash.. he sticks around because she is pretty.. otherwise he would have left and let her die.. honestly the worst dribble I've come across.. then there is the actual game which is extremely poor.. graphics are worse than the 80s! interface is useless.. no redeeming features to play this game

Not bad. Beautiful art (the style is a bit faux since the artist is clearly European but the scenes depicted are supposed to happen in America). The story is quite fun, the characters are solid and puzzles' difficulty is well balanced. I would have changed some things (for instance, having interconnected scenes instead of being sequential, and especially the amateurish music that is the weakest aspect in the game). But even considering the weaker points, I recommend the game. I'm having a lot of fun with it. PS I haven't played 164 hours as Steam says right now (clearly Steam counts the time the program is running although the user is not playing). But I think it can be finished in about 20 hours comfortably (without any guides or help).

Really great game with excellent graphics and awesome animations. Maybe the best song in any point-and-click adventure game. Aside from 2 or 3 spots with pixel hunting, the rest of the game has a moderate difficulty. It is now considered an all-time classic of its genre.

Very good environment art. Decent voice acting. Okay character design. Some completely illogical puzzles. Occasional borderline impossible to spot objects. And a pretty dumb story. But still fairly enjoyable. 3/5
