[Redacted] The Safehouse

As a fan of detective fiction, I just wasn't that impressed by [Redacted] The Safehouse. While there's a light bit of exploration through the small crime scene apartment, most of the game's deductions are done through searching an old journal on a computer and I just didn't get that good sense of discovery or epiphanies that are basically required for a good detective story, so I can't really recommend this game.

played like an hour that was ok... uhh spoiler
some random dark eyes outside eats u at the end
then there's another computer. bring a note pad

A nice little short game. After finishing the main part, for me about 70 minutes, you do unlock some extra stuff to do, but it was not as captivating, so I stopped playing there. The game have creapy background sounds, but I just turned audio off and put on some nice country western and solved the puzzles. I did not manage to unlock the phone... sad.

Very cool and interesting story

This is a nice, short mystery game with some spooky vibes. Basically, you're trying to piece together what happened at a crime scene by searching journal entries on a computer that can only show a max of 3 entries at a time. Feels very "Her Story" in that regard. If you like mystery/detective games, this one is for you. My only real gripe is the story doesn't fully land. There's some aspects that feel underbaked, but not bad enough to ruin the experience.
