Drive beyond Mach 1, and reach speeds up to 1,000 Mph / 1,600 Kph
It feels like a future racer - But it's done with physics. This is achieved with a vehicle that changes its downforce in real-time with a fly-by-wire setup that adjusts spoilers, suspension, tire pressure (and more) based on speed.Go faster -> Pull more downforce -> Master more insane tracks. And ... It's not just an ultra fast racing game ...
22RS features RTS mechanics never seen before in racing games:- Track capture - Capture resources from the track by getting the fastest sector times.
- Vehicle upgrades: Upgrade your engine, boosters, ERS, and capacitors mid race.
- Mid Race Resources - Collect electricity and plasma and spend them to boost, buy upgrades, or use 'abilities'.
- Abilities: Paint the track with an area based effect that gives boosts and energy to you, or steals speed and energy from opponents.
Game modding built in
- Vehicle Tuning - Tune the vehicle to make it do (almost) whatever you want.
- Race Builder - Create any kind of racing mode and strategy that you like.
- Track Builder - Edit > Race > Edit instantly, and share globally with one click.
VR Racing - An extreme experience for thrill seekers
We get a lot of great feedback about the 22RS racing experience in VR.So if you like the idea of extreme experiences in VR, then we'd welcome you to give it a try.22RS is built using RevGen. A custom engine that allows us to do 1200+Hz physics. Extremely high frame rates and super high physics sample rates = a silky smooth physics handling experience at insanely high racing speeds.'22 Racing Series' is currently available as an early-access game. We're an independent team, (currently*) without investor or publisher backing.

A quick review to call notice to this being on sale for a tiny $2.49 right now. It's a hell of an interesting sci-fi racer, its development has just been in limbo for quite a while. Quite a while. When you see "The last update made by the developers was over 6 years ago" on the store page of course you're going to think this is as dead as dead gets, as I did. But not so! At least, probably not so. A developer's account still hangs around the game's Steam forum and says the studio is picking up contract work to hopefully keep the lights on, but updates have been made and maybe there's a 1.0 someday. But no guarantees, certainly. Worth the two fiddy gamble from my perspective just in case the updates start happening again, and what's here now is worth a couple bucks anyway. Briefly, it's a 360 degree tunnel racer like Gravity Chase or Velocity G or the underrated Gamecube exclusive, Tube Slider. But being fairly early in early access, there's only the framework of a full game here -- a few various race types against AI bots on what looked like 18(?) different tracks, online races which I assume don't work, and a fairly lengthy tutorial. Speaking of the tutorial, one of the games dow…8 found this helpful
22 Racing Series | RTS-Racing is a bold and unconventional take on futuristic racing, attempting to fuse high-speed driving with real-time strategy elements into a single cohesive experience. Developed and published by GOATi Entertainment, it positions itself as more than just a racer, introducing a system where tactical decisions made during a race can be just as important as mechanical driving skill. It’s an idea that immediately stands out, offering something genuinely different in a genre that often leans on familiar formulas. At its foundation, the game delivers extremely fast-paced racing across futuristic tracks that twist, loop, and extend into vertical space. Vehicles are capable of driving along walls and ceilings, creating a sense of freedom that goes beyond traditional track design. The handling model leans toward a simulation approach, emphasizing physics, traction, and control rather than arcade-style forgiveness. As a result, the learning curve can be steep, especially for players expecting a more accessible experience. However, once the mechanics begin to click, the sense of speed and control can be highly satisfying, rewarding precision and consistency. What sets…4 found this helpful
Definitely worth the sale price at the moment, would be worth the full price if they bring some good updates, more tracks and content, it can be good fun in VR, that's the only way I play it.3 found this helpful
Really enjoying my time since the sale, I jumped straight into a race, thinking that I could just work it out, turns out not so easy to but a fun chalalnge, checked out the tutorial and everything made sense. Definitly a learning curve but really interesting, a lot fun to jump in and try some tracks. A bit of focus on to the player progression, starting people with a race license-like tutorial type of set up, and hand holding/easing into the mechanics and of the depth and controls would be nice. The RTS hybrid elements are a really cool combination too, and definintly a fun challenge to wrap to involve yourself in. The cars themselves feel really good, the control over the tuning and control as well feels great and overall I'm really enjoing the time with 22RS.2 found this helpful
This game is pretty much dead.2 found this helpful
Physics based car game wanted to test out because it had a bit of a futuristic Tron vibe which I like. Was a bit hard and had some issues with my keyboard understanding until I plugged in my Logitech game controller. Then I was set much more set. Also was a bit rough going right into it until I popped back out to run the tutorial. Was much more helpful after playing the tutorial and chilling out a bit more on my turns. Enjoyed the boosters for the Y on and X for the "flap" was it stuff. I'll set up my VR next cuz I hear its good on that front. I got turned around a couple of times but figured out how to change the direction. More tracks for me to explore next and can see some upgrade areas in the opening. Overall can see this would be way fun to race against others. Some neat and interesting driving tech going on here.1 found this helpful
