About 2x4 Nails
Welcome to Hell City, USA, where a new drug called "Pig" turns homeless addicts into violent maniacs. A serial killer known to the press as "Der Kannibale" has been butchering and feasting on its victims while leaving Bavarian clues at every crime scene, like German Oktoberfest beer. The FBI is on the scene to hunt down the cannibal, while local police are helpless and overwhelmed by the increasing brutality of psychotic vagrants.
As FBI Field Photographer Thomas Greene, you do not carry a gun and need whatever weapon you can find to stay alive and get the job done. Grab a two-by-four, pipe, fire axe, shovel, brick, beer bottle, or whatever you can from the environment around you. Document every crime scene with your camera to solve the murders and fight the addicted and deranged.

Its not a good sign after finishing a game, when you go to the game's store page quickly to check: "Was it free or did I pay for this?". + The dialog text is funny in parts, and the twist ending was interesting. + Tasing and bashing homeless drug addicts in the head with a toilet seat is always fun. - The graphics make the game seem like it should have came out for Atari in 1977. - The game is 25-30 minutes long. - I had to take my headphones off, the "Music" if you want to call is that, is an annoying reverberating drone sound on repeat. If you want to check it out for some dumb fun go for it, I wouldn't pay more than a buck though. Better games out there worth your time. Overall: 4/1010 found this helpful
It is a short horror game. I had some bugs, but nothing game-breaking. Gameplay feels kind of clunky. Story is ok. The graphics are ok. Only buy if it is on sale! I wouldn't pay more than a buck. Everything else is way too much. Playtime: ~ 0.5 hours Overall: 4 out of 101 found this helpful
Condemned: Criminal Origins if it was made by the hobos you are fighting in the game.
This is a fun, simple little slice of Condemned Lite. The combat is a little simple, but it has a nice atmosphere, the story twists were not expected in the slightest, and I did have a good time with it. It'll take you 30 to 50 minutes to beat, depending on how much you explore. Worth snagging to support an indie dev, or grabbing on a small sale if you want a better deal. But I'd give this a pretty solid thumbs up, it has some good moments, generally doesn't frustrate, and overall is a solid little game from an indie dev. Still not convinced? Crashes on launch, non-specific
The game is fine. I like the atmosphere. I don't mind the minimal graphics. The story is perfectly serviceable. The combat is a little clunky and the enemies will zip to you, but I never felt like I was in any real danger. The ending feels a little bugged, but I still managed to get two different end screens. It's a decent game and not very long. I'd grab it when it's on sale if you've been curious about it.
