8/8/88 Needle AL

There was a real sense of dread in the first two parts and I found the protagonist very interesting, but the third part really felt like a letdown. It just became really predictable, and the photos shown at the end looked to be some pretty bad early AI (particularly in an image of a woman crying) that let it down. There's also a sort of joke epilogue that feels like it makes light of the really serious subject matter that was brought up throughout the story. It was an interesting gameplay experience, but it could've been better.

Gameplay felt similar to some narrative flash games I've played when I was younger. The story gets DARK, and the game does a great job of slowly ramping up the unease and tension. The main character being...the way he is gives us a really interesting perspective to follow. Good game, it's free, and it's pretty quick to get through.

The story was unexpected different type of horror that had so many layers with each chapter. The graphics -- however, simple -- were great. The sound design and music, superb. Was not expecting to play this for 2 hours, but it was well spent. Definitely play your other games!

So boring. Don't waste of your time playing this game.
