I love the creature-collecting idea for a roguelite but the creatures are really just spells with a creature animation. I knew that when I bought it, but I expected to like it more than I did. This game is fine if you like action roguelites but it's not for me. 6/10

Honestly the game is super fun, at first it also feels easy but as you advance it becomes harder, not super hard but challenging enough. The game doesn't force you to keep playing, in fact you can just go for the run on some maps which are procedural to get some fun, get some exp, get some items or whatever and come back, then when you decide do the story map instance. Now about the Story thus far is interesting, maybe kind of cliche but entertaining at least and with a plot decent enough to keep you developing it as you advance. The game also has some deep mechanics as you advance, they don't feel heavy enough to get walled without fully embracing them but they are there to help and make the game more fun and give you your own options to diversify your gameplay

This game starts out great right until you hit the grind and that means everything in this game is nothing but grind, you get a slightly better monster the grind starts over with xp farming and traits and the time sink is not worth it then you have all the materials needed to upgrade everything that you only get one of for the most part meaning multiple runs just to get one resource high enough to upgrade one item once but you can hold six artifacts that all need upgrading but you also need shards just so you can carry six in the first place same goes, then there is the fact that everything has a pointless timer so you could be going to do a hard mission and go to heal to find out that all the food you made expired for no reason and now you are screwed

This is shallow, repetitive and boring, hard pass. The creature control is infuriating as they have no depth or interest they just run up and deal a little damage. The levels are short and empty only a few enemie here and there. The grind is imense for no reason and has barely any return (such a plus 10 hp for and upgrade). the combat is just floaty and sluggish with you taking a lot of cheap shots that do way too much damage since damaging your monsters also deal damage to you if the monster in your team has no HP left. Overall a bad and aggravating time, and a no go.

I'm only playing it because I want to finish all the achievements, but the game is full of bugs, unoptimized, and lacks depth. Stay away from it.
