I honestly didnt expect afterlove ep to affect me as much as it did. i came into the game curious about the story, but i ended up getting completely attached to the characters, espeically Rama and Satria. Their relationship was one of my favorite parts of the game. I definelty recommend if your a fan of life is strange or lost records definetly a mix of both!1 found this helpful
“Hey who left this bowl of onions here?” - Squidward Tentacles I really enjoyed my time with this game. I understand that the style of gameplay and writing may not be for everyone, but it absolutely landed for me. Despite its highly emotional subject matter, it never comes off as “sappy” or melodramatic which is what makes all the characters and their situations feel so real. The ending… ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That was straight up the first game ever to make me cry. Then again I did get the perfect ending, for which you need to find all the memories of Cinta which are in really non-obvious places so you’ll basically have to use a guide to find them all in a first playthrough, This is a game with a lot of heart, very cute and expressive character designs, a fantastic soundtrack that really grounds its identity, and isn’t too long if you want something quick to playthrough. Just… don’t play it too soon after losing a loved one, it might hit a tad too hard.
An interesting game to play regardless of one's preconception or state of mind. This experience was on my wishlist for years, and after getting my first ending, and adequately preparing for the idea of routes, I planned and executed in one session across 4 save files. Earning 100% Having one vocal talent, the talented Risa Mei, was an adventurous and bold choice, it matches the narrative and mechanical mindset the game would like to experience. Their performance was grounded, wide-ranging, and provoked many romantic, playful, and at times, melancholic emotional reactions. The rhythm sections were serviceable, yet should not be a mechanical highlight, earning the "Perfect" achievements for them first try should be easy to do on M/K, controller causes double inputs, which makes running difficult to do at time of review. I went it with the emotional maturity and preconceptions, that served me well mechanically, yet got me emotional once those preconceptions got me to doubt them early on. I earned an intended and unconventional ending that was true to how I would have processed, yet made sure to save the "perfect" ending as my send off for the experience. If one is grieving, this a…
