About Albert and Camille's Little Lille Adventure
Albert and Camille’s Little Lille Adventure is an exploration game in which you navigate characters around the city of Little Lille in 1917. Players take the part of or heroes Albert Calmette and Camille Guérin and help them develop the life-saving BCG Vaccine.
It is a simple, 2d top-down adventure, exploration, and problem-solving game similar to classics such as Zelda. There are also elements of stealth as you avoid the guards like in the original run of Metal Gear. There is also a mini-game where you culture bacteria. This is a casual educational game and should only last around 10 minutes to play through.
Explore the city, work with the people of Little Lille, avoid the soldiers, and collect the necessary supplies Albert and Camille need to create the first vaccine to fight tuberculosis. As you progress, you will learn about the methods used to create BCG and how vaccines work.
Who are the games for?:
The game is totally free and can be played or downloaded by anyone with an internet connection. They are specifically targeted at 11 - 14 years old students and designed as a tool for teachers, researchers, and parents looking for a fun way to engage young people with the topics of immunology, vaccines and the history of science.
You can play the game in six languages - English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Hindi, and Portuguese.

What is this game? I get that the point is to be informative about tuberculosis, but why is it on steam? I can see this being played in school but not at home. At home we play games like Doom and Half Life, not any educational games where you run around, answer a few questions and the game has been completed. I found it boring that there literally wasn't a single sound effect. Even if the game can be beaten in 20 minutes, you still shouldn't play this.2 found this helpful
this is great information I guess, but that's not the point of steam. the point of steam is to play a GAME, and in that aspect this utterly fails. there's not even any audio.
I had fun with this, it's a very short game with info about BCG
very bad game
I think we need more games like this for middle and high school students as an easy and interactive way to learn about science. I really enjoyed this little adventure.
Very cool bit of history and science . Bit short though. Perhaps you can add more vaccine quests like MMR etc. Hopefully it might inform some people about the benefits of vaccines,
