My initial impressions of Alone Girl were actually better than expected, but I absolutely cannot recommend it due to game-breaking progression bugs that completely halted my progress early on. I quit after experiencing several softlocks and having my save data deleted from accidentally hitting "New Game" instead of "Continue." The game automatically overwriting a single save file without a confirmation prompt is insanely stupid. The technical performance leaves a lot to be desired, monster AI still needs work, and the last map I played was unfinished slop. I'm also not a fan of the fixed camera angle, especially when the view gets completely obscured by the environment. Alone Girl has the potential to be a decent indie twin-stick shooter in the future, but for now, you're better off playing The Ascent, Ruiner, or any other title that will actually respect your time. **PC used was a RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 9800x3D, 32GB RAM8 found this helpful
