About Raiders of Blackveil
Raiders of Blackveil is a Top-Down, pulse-pounding Multiplayer Roguelite ARPG with MOBA inspired characters, and a couple of extraction elements.
You will be:
Destroy everything you see by discovering powerful combinations across Rebel abilities and Class Perks.
Gather your friends, join the rebellion, and form the ultimate team to fight against Blackveil.Every new Raid you create new and unique builds by combining over 300 perks from
8 different classes.
Choose between Mage, Assassin, Priest, Guardian, Monk, Druid, Warrior, and Warlock.
Each Class have its own unique effects and mechanics.
Unlock class synergies through overpowered Duo Perks to make your build come alive.Loot is everywhere. Farm Equipment to bolster your Rebels to give yourself a head start on your future Raids.
Bandages, Keys, Currencies and valuable Souvenirs can be found across all Raids.

[b]TL;DR:[/b] Fun for a few hours, but the core loop runs dry fast. Sadly not much more than what the demo already offered a year ago. [b]The Good[/b] [list] [*] Runs are genuinely fun, and building your character mid-run feels rewarding [*] The perk system is the best part of the game, hands down [*] Combat is solid, and equipment/loot scratches the itch enough to keep you playing short-term [*] Multiplayer is fun when it works, role diversity (tank, support, dps) actually gets to shine for the first biome or two, before it turns into pure powerscaling [/list] [b]The Bad[/b] [i]Metaprogression:[/i] [list] [*] Barely changed since the demo a year ago. There are really only two tracks: gear, and home base meta perks (extra starting levels etc.) [*] I finished all of it in about 4 hours, for a 20€ game that's rough. not too shabby
Devs have no idea what theyre doing balance wise, they nerf everything like this is a competitive mmo, roguelites are meant to have fun and get broken silly builds why nerf the crap out of everything? Let people get a little busted thats literally what higher diffuculties are for. The runs are also stupid short so you dont even get a chance to really get a strong build (makes it even worse because theres just SO many points of tiny incremental power that just floods your choice pool making it hard to focus) going to catch up to mobs that feel like they just stay outscaled in comparison to you.
Its gotten a lot better since the beginning beta. Still has some room for improvements but in general the settings, characters, and gameplay are fairly fun.
Much improved! Having a ton of fun with the latest update! New classes New biomes New talents new perks. Great sign of thing to come
