Solve puzzles, find clues that will help you along your way, and get immersed in the spirit of adventure, the beauty of the landscapes and the depth of the story.

So, a remake of a classic point-n-click adventure from Benoit Sokal. The original game perhaps is a bit overshadowed by Syberia series, but is still somewhat popular. Anyway, I haven't played the original so will not make any direct comparison. However it is hard not to notice that Syberia games took a lot from Amerzone, literally walking same way but in the different decorations. The game starts very promisingly. It looks gorgeously and premises are mystic if not cryptic. Curious architecture of the forgotten lighthouse full of solitude and some dark secrets not yet fully revealed. Tone and atmosphere are set just right. First chapter being perhaps most puzzle-stuffed among all helps to hold the impression of a good adventure to come. However, later things become pretty sour. First of all, following chapters take place in locations that are, however beautiful, pretty generic and secondary. Yes, jungle looks great, but it is still jungle. Actual puzzles become scarce. In general in the game there are maybe no more than four of them. All remaining tasks are collect-and-fetch ones, some repetitive mini-games and A LOT of pixel hunting if you play in harder mode. Exhausting as it …3 found this helpful
Great remake of the 1999 original. The graphics are stunning and the developers have a added a lot of additional background content which can be explored during the course of the story.1 found this helpful
I'm not far in yet, but I am captivated thus far. The graphics are amazing. I am so very curious as to where this story will take me. A must play, in my opinion.
I really enjoyed my time with this one. I would definitely recommend this game. It's a classic adventure game that lets you take your time. I never felt rushed or stuck for too long and the puzzles were fun without being frustrating. It was nice to just sit back explore and let the story unfold at its own pace. The world is beautiful and the music was easily one of my favorite parts. The soundtrack fits the atmosphere perfectly and made exploring Amerzone even more enjoyable. I honestly don't have any complaints. It's just a solid relaxing story driven adventure. If you enjoy old school puzzle adventure games.
Sayın Benoit Sokal'a saygısızlık gibi olmasın ama oyunu o kadar güzel yenilemiş ve geliştirmişler ki orijinalinden bile daha güzel olmuş diyebilirim. No disrespect to Mr. Benoît Sokal, but they did such an amazing job remaking and improving the game that I’d say it’s even better than the original.
Great game, ending was a bit flat but the journey was well worth it. Not too difficult so you'r constantly experiencing new things not bashing against a brick wall. Nice system that shows you what one can interact with so you don't need to hunt for pixels (use it only if you want/need). Hint system that helps if stuck, frankly I think many other puzzle games could learn from this one.
