A cute relaxing game and very entertaining, and enough fun that i am playing it again..

[i]Around the World 5: Beautiful America[/i] is an enjoyable hidden object game that follows Emily and her parents on a trip across various locations in the USA and Canada. It also has some educational value, as small chats between the family members introduce historical facts about the tourist destinations they visit. The main game features 18 different locations, each offering multiple hidden object scenes and one minigame. The scene types vary from word search to image search, pattern pieces search or word riddles. In each location, you’ll also need to spot a cute raccoon and uncover special objects not listed in the clues. Set off on a tourist trip to the United States with a friendly family. Lots of cities to visit, each with a brief explanation: Texas, Florida, New Orleans, California, New York, Utah, and many more... There are 30 different locations, collectibles to find, and fun, easy minigames. Each completed level earns you points that can be used to buy souvenirs to display on a bookshelf. This content includes: Bonus puzzles, Bonus levels, Downloadable wallpapers, Music players, and a new puzzle game. All levels are repeatable if you choose to complete them with 3 stars. I recommend it, it's a great time-passing game. Lots of levels to play; the objects can be pretty challenging to find. And there are multiple scenes within levels, which is OK. Not 100% sure the mini-games work for the overall concept, though. That said, if you want a hidden object game that is straightforward and does exactly what it says, this is it.

All of the people who figure in the illustrations are caucasian, which makes me wonder if the developers are racist. I believe the developers are Americans. Unless I am told a good reason for the lack of ethnic diversity, I can't recommend this game or any other game of this publisher.
