About Arc Apellago
The great guardian statue is attacked! Its spirit energy released and its protective powers broken, the ground shatters across the land: mountainous chunks of earth begin rising up into the atmosphere.
Traverse the sky in this open-air platformer featuring elegant, fluid movement and swift combat. Play as a mysterious assassin-like wielder of spirit energy to strike down enemies, restore the great guardian statue and return the land to the earth.

Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. "Arc Apellago" is a student project from DigiPen that ignores that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's... there's no such thing as a gaming PC without 3D graphics. The faculty at DigiPen apparently didn't feel it necessary to tell students about that. It's going to be tough for any student to go find work in the industry if they can't even show they know about 3D video games. The students were instructed that PC gamers in 2020 expect 2D retro platformers and therefore AAA game companies will only consider applications who don't know how to make any games other than 2D retro platformers. Needless to say if I went to DigiPen and that's what they told me I'd demand my money back... the students were clearly ripped off. So the students made a very low effort 2D side scrolling platformer brawler with some nonsense plot about being a sky spirit and attacking things with sky stuff. Whatever. Nobody is going to get interested in the plot if the game itself isn't any good. We also have to question what value there is for gamers on Steam when institutions flood the s…

Геймплей увлекает с первых минут: планирование поселений на летающих островах, управление ресурсами, борьба с пиратами и исследование новых технологий - все это держит в напряжении и требует стратегического мышления. Особенно радует система развития, позволяющая создавать уникальные и эффективные поселения. Каждое решение имеет последствия, и нужно тщательно взвешивать все "за" и "против". Несмотря на некоторые сложности в освоении механик в начале, игра быстро затягивает. Однозначно рекомендую поклонникам жанра!
