About ARMS DOLL

"ARMS DOLL" is a VR mecha action game where you become the pilot of a humanoid mobile weapon called an ARMS DOLL and fight against the enemy.

The player controls the ARMS DOLL using the cockpit controls to carry out missions.
The player can then use the money earned from completing missions to purchase new machines and weapons, and to strengthen the equipment in their possession as they take on more missions.
There are medium-weight machines with well-balanced performance, light-weight machines with high maneuverability to avoid enemy attacks, heavy-weight machines with strong armor to withstand attacks, and inexpensive small machines and work machines with inferior performance.
There are many variations of machines that the player can board and that appear as enemies in missions.
And basically, ARMS DOLL can carry weapons in both hands and shoulders, and the combination of these weapons will greatly change the way they fight.
Choose the best machines and weapon for the mission or according to the player's preference.
Sometimes you'll be facing custom machines with ace pilots on board, or mysterious large weapons.
All of these are powerful opponents, but by strengthening your machines and figuring out how to fight them, you'll be able to win.
Very barebones
I am sorry, I know I should be more complacent to indie developers. But this game is too barebones, has terrible or plain graphics and inefficient controls. You can check some of my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/XBhyrz-3cFI
Gameplay content
The game is a collection of consecutive missions where you fulfill an objective (which seems to be always "kill the enemies") given in a text box. The missions have some other units (mechs) that go in your direction plus the scenery whose only function seems to sometimes work as cover or vantage points. The scenery is a small enclosed area with invisible walls that are shown in the radar. You earn money with each mission (even when you die, albeit a small amount) and don't need to repair your mecha after a battle. You can spend your money on improvements on your current loadout or new items to replace the ones you have. You can change the left and right arm weapons and the left and right shoulder weapons plus the mecha body. There's a tutorial in the game that doesn't really explain anything and it's just some floating text shown to you in a completely empty landscape.
Graphics
The landscapes a…

Most hidden gem in vr mecha niche. Minimalistic, but fun as hell. Your metal coffin is fast and agile. :D

Overall a solid base, but could use a bit more polishing Controls feel almost perfect, but feel occasionally unresponsive if you move your hands a little too far left or right Visuals are probably the weakest part due to the simplicity of everything, maps feel empty outside of the enemies Customization could use a bit more freedom such as being able to swap out arms to affect accuracy and response times for the weapons, maybe a set that gives a wider targeting range at the cost of accuracy or range

Absolutely phenomenal game. As someone who is a huge mech fan and has played other VR mech games like Iron Rebellion, BIG SHOTS, and Vox Machinae, I can confidently say I think this game does VR mech gaming the best. As others have said, this is basically Armored Core in VR. It has the fast paced action of armored core while delivering in it the form of VR and it does it wonderfully. I bought this game on sale but i'd recommend it at full price too. But the game does go on sale every now and then so I suggest picking it up the moment it does. If you're looking for a fast paced VR mech game, give this one a shot.
