DAEMON X MACHINA

ive been told that apparently this game is older than AC6 and also built for the lower abilities of the switch. for those things this game is probably pretty good. but for me, playing this game on PC was a little jarring. i do still believe armored core 6 is definitely a better pick at least for me, but if you are playing with lower specs or the nintendo switch, this isnt a bad alternative for ac6, and probably a decent game on its own. conclusion, its ok, not for me but its not that bad

I really tried to give this a fair shake. This type of game should be right up my ally. No bugs and performed well on my pc. Mech design is ok, as is voice acting. But that is the only complimentary things it offers. The hanger UI could do with some improvement to make it clearer as to what you have installed on your Arsenal. Never made use of the store. There was never anything in stock. Like.... nothing. Its only purpose to sell the non existent armor and weapons you pick up. The ice cream shop... was pointless (too much friction and guessing involved to get a miniscule bonus)? It just highlights how boring that hanger area you spend time in between missions is. And charging to change your characters looks is bs. The writing is atrocious, the setting is bland, and nothing can convince you to care. I do not care about the corpos, the mercenaries, the enemies, the world. The characters will not shut up. Muted voices (and music) in about hour four of playing. By about hour seven I had a show running on a second monitor.

Vou ser sincero: a história é bem confusa e mal contada. Muitos eventos acontecem sem uma boa explicação, personagens e seus objetivos são simplesmente apresentados, e o jogo tenta contar muita coisa nas entrelinhas sem desenvolver bem suas ideias. No fim, achei a narrativa abaixo da média. O conceito de mercenários é um dos pontos mais legais. Como você aceita contratos, é comum lutar ao lado de certos grupos em uma missão e enfrentá-los em outra, mostrando o conflito de interesses entre as facções. Pena que o jogo não explora isso melhor. A gameplay é ok e melhora bastante do meio para o fim, quando você desbloqueia novas techs e equipamentos. O maior problema é a variedade de builds: conseguir peças novas é bem chato, seja pela loja, pelo craft ou até saqueando outros pilotos. Felizmente, o jogo é fácil o suficiente para isso não se tornar um grande problema. A trilha sonora também é bem "hit or miss": algumas OSTs são muito boas, mas boa parte acaba sendo esquecível. No geral, DAEMON X MACHINA faz mais coisas certas do que erradas. Mesmo com missões repetitivas, ele não se estende além do necessário e consegue entreter durante suas 14–15 horas de campanha.
